STAIRSplit · PRIVACY

Your workout data stays on your iPhone.

This policy explains what StairSplit stores and how the app uses it.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy covers the StairSplit iOS app. App Store purchases and any data handled by Apple or the website host are subject to their own privacy terms.

Information stored in the app

StairSplit stores your workout history, staircase step count, workout preferences, and body weight on your device. The app uses these details to record your sessions and calculate approximate workout summaries. Each saved workout keeps the settings used for that session.

No account required

You do not need to create an account to use StairSplit. The app does not send your workout history, staircase settings, or body weight to StairSplit or to third parties. The current app implementation contains no analytics or advertising tools and does not transmit this information off your device.

How your data is used and shared

Your information is used within the app to run the workout timer, show your history, and estimate workout metrics. StairSplit does not sell or share your workout or settings data. We do not receive a copy of this information.

StairSplit is a paid app. Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices; StairSplit does not receive your payment details through the app.

Device storage and deletion

App data is saved in StairSplit’s local application storage on your iPhone. You can delete individual saved workouts from History. Removing the app may also remove its locally stored data. Device backups and other iOS services are controlled by your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated to describe the new practices. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
